Membership

One season, one page, one price you can find in ten seconds

The rates on this page are the club's published 2025/2026 schedule. They are shown to demonstrate how a rate table can read — they are not a quote for the coming winter. Please check with the club before you budget.

2025 / 2026 season

These are the published 2025/2026 rates, not this season's

The 2025/2026 schedule is the one the club has published, so it is the one this concept shows. Early-bird pricing is the lower of the two columns; for that season it ran until 30 November.

How joining works

Season memberships

A membership covers the winter at Otway. A junior skiing with an adult member pays a fraction of the adult rate, and a child under six with an adult member is free.

Published 2025/2026 schedule. The club has not published whether a membership includes rentals, lessons or program fees, or what a day visit costs — so this concept does not guess at any of it.

Snowshoe only

You do not have to own skis to belong here

There is a separate, cheaper membership for people who only want the snowshoe trails — about forty per cent of the adult ski rate, and a family version alongside it.

It is the kind of option that gets missed when pricing lives three clicks deep, and it is exactly the sort of thing a household comparing winter activities in October is looking for.

Snowshoe-only · published 2025 / 2026
Adult · Senior early bird until 30 Nov $102.50 $110.00 regular
Family early bird until 30 Nov $245.00 $258.00 regular

Published 2025/2026 schedule. The club has not published what the snowshoe family rate covers, so this concept does not define it.

Joining

Three steps, and a date that does the work

This concept has no working form and no payment control anywhere. It is not a registration system and does not represent the club's own — it shows what the path through one would read like.

  1. 01

    Pick a category

Adult, senior, junior, student, adaptive, or snowshoe-only. Six rows, one decision.

  2. 02

    Beat the early bird

For 2025/2026 the early-bird rate ran until 30 November. Buying before the deadline is the cheapest a season ever gets.

  3. 03

    Ask the office

The club has staff and an office. Phone 250-564-3809 or email office@caledonianordic.com and somebody will sort you out.

A note from JnP

Caledonia Nordic already has a website, already has staff, and already invests in both. Nothing here is a suggestion that the club needs to start over. But on the day this concept was built — late July — the live homepage was still running a March 2026 membership special, its three trail counters all read 0 km, and the footer still carried the theme's own placeholder founding year.

Those are not design problems. They are the last five per cent of a build that nobody was given the time to finish, sitting on the two pages that have to convert early-bird buyers this autumn. A visitor who sees a four-month-old promo code and a zero where a distance should be does not conclude the site is out of date — they conclude the club might be. Fifty-five kilometres of groomed trail deserves better arithmetic than that.

After you join

A membership is the door, not the destination

Behind it sit ski lessons, youth programs, competitive cross-country, biathlon, the UNBC varsity team, adult and senior programs, school programs and summer programs — eight published streams on one site.

Dates, ages, fees and registration for each stream are not published in one place, so this concept lists the streams and nothing more.

All eight programs →

Included, unconfirmed

What a membership covers

Whether trail access, program fees, rentals and lessons are bundled or billed separately is not published. It is the first question a new family asks, and it belongs on this page.

Rentals

There is a rental shop on site, so a child who is not sure yet does not need a parent to buy skis first. Rates are not published.
